Digipack Front Cover

Here is the image i decided i would use this picture as my front cover digipack as my audience said that a picture of my artist is what they would expect my digipack to have on front cover.
I have edited the picture on picnik.com and added the text and made it look a bit more 'glam' and more music cover like.
I think this as my final front cover looks very attractive and will look appealing to my targeted audience, as the colours 'pink and black' is what they said would look best as a housestyle, so i have matched the colour of her lips. I decided to do everything black and white (apart from lips and title) because black and white gives that timeless effect, and with the housestyle of the full album being about time i thought it matched nicely and fits in well.

Research For Digipack

As i could not decide how to have my digipack, I thought I would ask my audience. To get the right feedback i decided too show my video to some year 11 students who take media studies too. I give them these questions too answer after they had finished watching. Unfortunately we didnt have enough time left for them to answer all of them so i told them to answer the ones they could.

Questions Digipack + Webpage
As part of my course I have to create a Music Video, Digipack and Webpage which should all merge together so they look professional. I need to ask you, my audience some questions about how you think they style of the Digipack(CD) and a webpage. Underneath you can see the webpage and CD for Coldplay

As you can see, they both have the same style/theme so you can tell it’s the same artist because of the way they have branded it. Same as their video ‘Every Tear Drop is a Waterfall’.

Now you have seen what I have done so far on my video I’d like your help and views so I can get more of an idea of what I should create for my Digipack and webpage…
Digipack
1. What would you expect to see on the front cover of the Digipack?

2. What colours would you think suites the Artist and Song for the Digipack throughout?

3. What do you think should be inside the Digipack on the background? Pictures of the artist? Or a colour? Or any other ideas?

4. Which name would you expect her to be called? Brielle or I-V?
And what type of font do you think would suit it as a signature    look?

5. Can you think of any song titles that you’d expect from the album?

6. What free-bee or extra would you expect to get with this?

Webpage
1. What colour background would you expect?

2. What colour font and what type of font would you expect?

3. Would you expect the page to look busy? Classy? Modern?

4. What do you think the webpage could include so it would fit in with everything else?

I got some good feedback from my audience that has now made me decide which colours too use and what theme to have and also the best name for my artist. The audience who watched the video also give me great feedback about my video saying that they thought it was really good and it looks like a music video and they can tell who its inspired by.

Digipack and Webpage Questionnaire

Here is the Questionnaire i have created for my audience to do, i will let them watch what i have done with my video so far then take them through what i have to do as part of my course and then get them to answer the questions so i have more of a clear understanding of what they expect from this.

what i have been doing recently..

Recently i have been working my up coming exam for my media resit. I have also been looking at the pictures i have taken when i have been filming my video and have started to draw some drafts for my digi-pack. However, i don't know what will suite my audience best style-wise so need to ask my audience some quesitons. I will show them my music video so far and see what they believe and picture the digipack should be like. I think that is the best possible way i can grasp my audience.

I have now also decided that i cannot wait for the weather to suite me any longer and i need to film my last scene doing something different asap. I don't believe that we are going to get any snow which is what i pictured originally but now i want and need to get my video complete so i can focus more on the other two tasks we have to do and the evaluation.

Every lesson we have done since i have last blogged i have been playing around with different techniques on my video. I am constantly looking for what i could do to improve it and what effects i could use and if anything needs cropping out just so can try and get it too perfection. Here are some pictures i have been screenshotting of my work.

At the minute paint will not let me save my screen shot of my work which i am currently working on to show how i've progressed. I will upload a picture as soon as i can get it too work.
